
Historically Otavalo's economy centered around agriculture but, due to increasing tourism, residents are making a greater number of woven fabrics and other handiwork for a living. Now the town is famous for its woven textiles and expansive marketplace. If you're going there to hear Prem Rawat speak on June 5th, make sure to stop by the town center for a taste of local craftsmanship.

When the Inca Empire still existed, Cusco sat at its heart. Today the city is still considered to be Peru's "historical capital" — a capital painstakingly constructed hundreds of years ago at an elevation of over 11,000 feet. On June 15th, Prem Rawat will be speaking in this sky-high city about a feeling that's truly elevating.
