During the morning of April 3, 2011, Maharaji returned to the Centre Convencions Internacional Barcelona (CCIB) to speak to over 4,000 people about the possibility of knowing rather than believing. He spoke passionately for nearly an hour and a half, reiterating the need to feel peace, not just to think about it.

Here are some excerpts from his talk:

We judge ourselves by the very things we know we should not judge ourselves with — which are external circumstances. If one thing will change, it will be an external circumstance. They are the most changeable. There are no guarantees. There is no certainty.

You must know what is certain in your life and what is uncertain in your life because if you don’t know those things, you are headed for a very bad experience. Which you must avoid at all costs. Because, really, having this life should be one very long party. Enjoyment every day. Regardless of what goes on. Regardless.

Believing is not any different than a fairy tale. And in believing there is a Prince Charming, and there is a glass slipper, and there is a pumpkin that turns into a chariot, and little rats that turn into guards. But in reality? You don’t need a pumpkin. You don’t need a glass slipper. You don’t need any of those things. Every single prayer that you could ever have has been answered. A solution to every confusion has been placed inside of you — but you just don’t know it.

A very heart-touching one. Would be very nice to be at event in Barcelona on 17th june. But,I am in a very bed financial situation,no money,not even a passport got I. Maybe my strong wish can change my situation.

i was there for both of the barcelona events just gone...best ever events i have been to in 37 years of them...i was lucky,, glad of it...how does it get any better than this?
