Report: Event in Narkher, Nagpur District, Maharashtra

This event was held in Narkher, a city in the Nagpur District of the state of Maharashtra in western India. People came from all over India—from as far north as Jammu and Kashmir (the most northern state in India) to south India and throughout Maharashtra in the west. The last time Maharaji visited Nagpur was almost seven years ago.

The program area was huge, and fortunately, it was free of any kind of pollution. Many who could not get in watched from outside the event grounds, hoping to hear what was said.

All in all, over 10,000 people were able to enjoy the event, which had only been announced a few days before. It was due to the hard work and effort of many people in this area that the event ran smoothly.

For me, it was wonderful to be here, and it was a unique gift to have Maharaji sitting right in front of my eyes. Looking at people’s faces, I saw that their hearts were filled with happiness hearing his wonderful words of peace. So many enjoyed the program in great silence and concentration.

Lakhan Sen commented, “I traveled 800 kilometers to be here and enjoyed it very much. I understood that I can enjoy my life to the fullest.”

Ram Ratan Rajware said, “This event has filled my heart with joy. It has given me peace inside. Listening to Maharaji, I feel that my life can be successful, and I feel inspired to tell others about him.”

“The heart wants the real truth,” Maharaji said. “The heart doesn’t want to believe; it wants to know.” He spoke about the peace within, saying that he “opens that door; you can go inside and experience the peace for yourself. Whenever you want, it will give you peace.”

The event lasted one and a half hours. That the people in the audience left happy was the sign of the success of this program. Maharaji commented that in the future he would like to have large and small events throughout India. Many expressed their hope for a larger event in this area.

was awesome....we screened this live stream (after a person sang a beautiful song) at our local events hall to a jam packed audience followed by a traditional Indian dance routine, and Spanish songs by a person on The Keys aspiring for Knowledge...breaking all cast barriers, Indians, Tamil, Spanish, Nepalese and Australians all set and watched this live stream...Maharaji was so humourus...

It was so beautiful every time Maharaji ask a question I answer him, it felt like Maharaji was having an event in my sitting room only with me. I Felt so privilage to listen to him it feels like I am traveling with him on the India tour. thank you Maharaji for the beautiful event. this is the best time and I want to make the most of this opportunity. It is first time that maharaji speak with audience so openly and welcome responce from the public, we enjoyed the programme, maharaji was in loving mood.
