On Saturday, October 23, over 2,000 people gathered in the Jackie Gleason Theater in South Beach for an extraordinary event which included videos, music and — eventually — dancing. Prem Rawat spoke twice during the all-day program and spent most of the evening session interacting with members of the audience.

Here are some excerpts from his morning talk:

Every single day, whether you are physically sick or not, you can feel good. This is what Knowledge does. Regardless of circumstances, it can give you that beautiful feeling that is within inside of you. Regardless of what is happening in this world, regardless of religion, regardless of the fight, regardless of all those things, you can feel contentment in your life.

There is water underneath the desert. If you keep digging and digging you will finally reach water. But to a person who's dying of thirst on the surface, what good is it? Somebody who lives on top of a gold mine, but is dirt poor — what good is it? We're talking about knowing — we're not talking about believing. There's a fundamental difference.

Life is a blessing. Every day is a blessing. Knowledge doesn't create anything. You must understand this. Knowledge does not create an experience. Knowledge puts you in touch with an experience. Big distinction. And can Knowledge put you in touch with that simplicity that's inside of you? The answer is yes.

All the strange changes that have taken place in Miami Beach (and the world for that matter) cannot dare to cast a single shadow of change or do anything to taint the unchanging, translucent, immaculate message that M brings to all those who care to listen. Thank you Thank You Thank You

Have been hearing and reading reports of this event, which was obviously very beautiful. For some of us, through age, disability,infirmness, insolvency, work, or commitments, could not be there, I hope and pray that Maharaji may do this kind of event for Europe. Whole days with him are rare and unique, and have an intimacy which, amongst other reasons, cannot be shared on media. For some things, you have to be there! Please, Maharaji, please!
