HOW TO GET TO THE CEC

The Buenos Aires Convention Center is located in the Recoleta neighborhood, next to the School of Law, in front of the H subway line terminal.

Public Pedestrian Access: via Av. Figueroa Alcorta, at the level of the pedestrian bridge descent towards the School of Law. Enter through the entrance of Plaza Brasil, going down one level via the staircases towards the plaza, and to the right, you will find the Center’s entrance doors.

Public Vehicle Access (accredited attendees only): via Av. Figueroa Alcorta, cross the pedestrian bridge of the School of Law, turn right onto the side street before the School, and proceed 100 meters.

This event is not suitable for children under the age of 10.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FOREIGNERS

Effective July 1, 2025, Argentina requires all non-resident foreign travelers to have mandatory travel medical insurance.

The policy must cover COVID-19, accidents, and illnesses, and be valid for the entire stay. Proof of insurance may be requested at airports, ports, and land borders.

TICKETS

Tickets are on sale. If you live outside Argentina, please use the yellow button for your purchase.

Sales of Day Tickets (only for those with suitable credit cards to purchase through Ticketek) will start on Friday 20 March at 12 noon via:

There are also some tickets for all three days available at https://events.wopg.org/ for those who have an international credit card.

Note:

  • Please create an account at www.ticketek.com.ar before purchasing your ticket(s).
  • When using your credit card to purchase ticket(s), you will be asked for 1) a national ID, or 2) the number of your valid passport.
  • If you are coming from another country, please select the last option (Extranjero) on the countries list when creating your account and Exterior province when you are making a ticket purchase.
  • When purchasing your ticket, you will be asked to give the same numbers you gave on your ID/Passport when creating your account.
  • When entering the venue, remember to have your printed ticket visible, or your electronic ticket visible on your phone, with the QR Code showing.

  • Tier 1: 3-day ticket 407,000 Argentine Pesos (approx 285 USD) + transaction fees
  • Tier 2: 3-day ticket 257,000 Argentine Pesos (approx 180 USD) + transaction fees
  • Tier 3: 3-day ticket 171,000 Argentine Pesos (approx 120 USD) + transaction fees
  • Tier 4: 3-day ticket 85,000 Argentine Pesos (approx 60 USD) + transaction fees
  • Tier 5: 3-day ticket 42,000 Argentine Pesos (approx 30 USD) + transaction fees

Day Tickets will be sold, if still available, in the Lobby before the day’s morning and evening sessions:

  • Tier 1: Day Ticket 143,000 Argentine Pesos (approx 100 USD) + transaction fees
  • Tier 2: Day Ticket 93,000 Argentine Pesos (approx 65 USD) + transaction fees
  • Tier 3: Day Ticket 65,000 Argentine  Pesos (approx 45 USD) + transaction fees
  • Tier 4: Day Ticket 36,000 Argentine  Pesos (approx 25 USD) + transaction fees
  • Tier 5: Day Ticket 17,000 Argentine  Pesos (approx 12 USD) + transaction fees

Each person will be able to purchase 4 seats. However, please only purchase seats you know will be used.

For logistical reasons, please be seated 10 minutes before the start of the event. Latecomers will be seated at the back of the hall to avoid distractions.

DO NOT RECORD OR FILM THE EVENT

Official recording is copyright protected. Anyone found recording will be asked to stop. If they continue, they will be removed from the venue.

The event will be filmed. Purchasing a ticket constitutes both your agreement to being filmed as well as the release for your image/voice being included in print, social media, photographic, audio, video, or other media. If you are purchasing a ticket for another person, their attendance at the event constitutes the same agreement and release.

There will be a security check on entering the building. No luggage, backpacks, or oversized bags are allowed inside the venue. Read more about storing your luggage in the LUGGAGE section below.

Please note: It is recommended that you do not make travel arrangements until you have successfully purchased your ticket(s), as the number of people requesting seats may exceed venue capacity.

Travelers from abroad: There are no travel restrictions to Argentina, however, please check for any current travel requirements that may affect you. You may need a Visa to enter the country, find out more about Argentina’s Visa Policy.

TICKET PURCHASE HELP

Online tickets can be purchased both on computers and on mobile devices. It is recommended to empty your internet browser history before you start your purchase.

You may experience problems during your online ticket purchase process. High demand can generate an automatic message saying ‘no seats available’, which does not mean the event is sold out.

– wait a few moments and start again
– try again on another device
– if you aren’t successful, send an email to events@wopg.org.

RETURNING UNUSED TICKETS

If your plans change and you have an unused ticket, please send an electronic version of your ticket to events@wopg.org.

Tickets returned to this address will be re-allocated on a first-come, first-served basis to other people who want to attend this event.

There will be no refunds.

ASSISTED ACCESS

Support will be given to people using wheelchairs.

If you are experiencing any difficulties purchasing a wheelchair space or carer seat, please contact ticket events@wopg.org.

If you are hard of hearing, a channel in enhanced English will be available. Headsets will be available in the lobby in exchange for an ID.

SIMULTANEOUS TRANSLATION

The sessions will be conducted in English. Some videos and interactions will be in Spanish, and English speakers may need translation. Simultaneous translation will therefore be available in English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.

Headsets for everyone will be available in the lobby, in exchange for an ID.

LUGGAGE

As previously informed, there will be a security check upon entering the venue. Suitcases, large backpacks, or bulky bags are not allowed inside.
