Event Team Volunteer FAQs
Can I apply for more than one role?
Yes. You may apply for multiple roles if you believe your skills and availability are suitable. During the review process, our team will identify the best match based on your experience, interests and the needs of the event.
What happens after I apply?
Your application will be reviewed by the WOPG HR Team. If your profile aligns with the requirements of the role, you may be invited for a short discussion or follow-up call. Final selections are made based on skills, experience, availability, and event needs.
Are training or orientation sessions provided?
Yes. Selected volunteers will be invited to attend orientation sessions before their assigned events. These sessions ensure clarity, readiness, and alignment with WOPG’s quality standards.
Can I volunteer in more than one city or locality?
Yes, depending on event schedules and your availability. Some roles may be location-specific, while others may allow participation across multiple regions. Details will be discussed during the selection process.
How are volunteers selected?
Volunteers are selected based on their role suitability, experience, skills, commitment, and alignment with WOPG values. Certain roles requiring technical expertise may involve an additional review or competency check.
When will selected volunteers be informed?
You will be notified once the selection process for your applied role is completed. Timelines may vary depending on event schedules and team coordination, but we strive to communicate results as promptly as possible.
Are volunteers required to sign any agreements?
Yes. To ensure clarity of expectations, confidentiality, and professionalism, selected volunteers will be required to sign a Volunteer Agreement or relevant role-specific guidelines prior to beginning their assignment.
