After having reviewed the current Role Descriptions available on www.wopg.org and having refined your CV, you are now welcome to take the next step on your volunteer journey!
Our volunteer-driven platform EVOL is designed to support a structured and purposeful approach to volunteer engagement.
This allows us to ensure thoughtful alignment between each volunteer’s
- interests
- strengths
- availability
with the evolving needs of our organisation.
Our purpose is to cultivate a volunteer experience that is not only meaningful and enriching but also well-supported, clearly guided, and rooted in mutual respect.
What to do first:
- Go to evol.wopg.org, click Sign Up, and create your profile.
- Usability is best with a computer. Tablets are usually OK. Phones can work in landscape mode, but are not recommended.
- When creating your profile, be sure to fill in each field and specify your Regions, Countries, and Metros carefully. This will give you the best selection of volunteer opportunities available in your area.
Please note that volunteer roles are released in phases. If you do not see a role of interest at the moment, we encourage you to check back later for additional opportunities.
What to do next:
- Please review the Volunteer Portal Guide if you have not already done so.
- Click on the Volunteer button to browse the available opportunities in the locations you have chosen. Each opportunity has an Apply button.
- You can apply for all of the Metro Areas (or Regions) you have signed up for in your profile, or you can be selective.
